Why this one, and when not to use it
Most invoice templates make the mistake of treating every field as equally important, so the header becomes a wall of small print. Column solves that by moving all the reference data — dates, PO number, tax registrations, place of supply, bank details, payment terms — into a tinted sidebar down the left edge.
What is left on the main canvas is the part your client actually reads: what you did and what it costs. On long invoices this pays off twice, because the sidebar only prints on page one while the item table continues cleanly on later pages.
Column handles dense tax data particularly well, which makes it a good pick for GST invoices where you need GSTINs for both parties, place of supply, HSN codes and a component-level tax split all on the same document.
